How-To

Grow Outdoors

  • Summer sun

First thing to do if planting outside is to look at the calendar. Cannabis flowers as the days start to shorten during the summer. The time range to plant is between May 15th - August 15th. The earlier you plant, the larger the plants will grow. As you get closer to August 15th the plants will be smaller, if you just want to grow a small head stash.

  • Plant in pot

We recommend putting your plants into a minimum 3 gallon pot, or straight into the soil in your garden. Feed with a well rounded fertilizer. A higher nitrogen fertilizer is good during the vegetative, or growth, stage before flowering commences. A higher phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is more appropriate during flower.

  • Plant flowering

Your plants should finish flowering anytime between the last week of September and the last week of October. Different strains flower at different times and finish at different times. Environment, amount of light, and the amount of moisture can also influence when the plant is ripe. When all the hairs on your plant have turned brown it is time to harvest and hang.

  • Indoor plant

Plants in your indoor garden require 18 hours of light to grow, when you are happy with the size of your plants, switch the hours of light to 12 hours per day.

    2
  • Growing Temperature

Some things to consider: keep your environment between 65-80 degrees fahrenheit and 40-60% humidity to grow great flower. Providing fresh air or another adequate source of CO2 will give you the most potential in your indoor garden.
